Although it might not be immediately apparent, I see a connection between the subjects of ‘tech’ and ‘gender’. In a way, it’s a bit like class-struggle: we geeks make the world what it is as we invent everything but, I wonder, do geeks do very well in the sex wars? I would hope that tech-geeks would be interested in the subject matter of my book. Does an ‘average geek’ ever get upset when when he observes ‘men’ being criticized in the media again. Are we really that inferior? The principle idea behind Gender Equivalence is that men and women are equals in matters such as morality, intelligence and romantic sensibility and I hope that fellow geeks would agree with that.
All in all, I suspect that a fair proportion of my fellow geeks will have had the same experience of saying ‘but that doesn’t make sense…’, quietly to themselves when they are confronted with yet more media feminism.

I also hope fellow geeks (and more fellow men, for that matter) would agree that men and women are equal in terms of intelligence, morality, romantic sensibility, and others. But I also think that a lot of the feminism (most of what I read, like, and feel related to) is just about that. So, I don’t get how feminism is your enemy.
There are a lot of meanings to the word “feminism”. Just because one of them describes a tiny group of female nutjobs who happen to think that men are inferior and should be castrated and enslaved, it doesn’t mean that it’s the only meaning of feminism.
You might be interested in the work of Sandra Bem, a feminist psychologist that worked on the concepts of gender and androginy. I found it very interesting. IIRC, her ex-husband (Daryl Bem) prefers to refer to feminism as antisexism. I also find that word to make sense, and to clear things out regarding superiority vs equality.
